Finally…there’s an easy way to anonymously find and negotiate with real estate agents.
It seems that when it comes time to sell your home, you’ve got 2 choices: go with the agent and gripe about the cost, or sell it yourself for a nominal fee and risk not attracting a larger pool of home-hungry buyers. Makes a girl wonder why there’s nothing in between?! I mean, c’mon, where’s the seller’s savvy friend? You know, that little something between a sell-your-home splurge and steal.
Just call her Sunday. Sunday Bell, that is. And she’s putting the real estate power back in consumers’ hands.
Canadian website Sundaybell.com lets consumers anonymously find, interview and negotiate with real estate agents so as to avoid paying for any services they don’t want. (I’ll take the home staging, but not the Webview 360 please!)
Here’s how it works...
There are 3 levels of service available (all of them free for consumers and Sundaybell will even recommend which one they think best suits your needs):

Select an Agent: For those who already know which agents they’d like to correspond with, this service enables the consumer to have anonymous communication with the agents - to negotiate commission rates, buyers’ rebates, or à la carte services ahead of time.

Agent Blasters - Similar to the above, though for consumers who don’t already have particular agents in mind.

Buyer Blasters – Lets consumers tell agents what type of property they’re looking for and communicate anonymously until they’re ready to meet in person. (Isn’t that how your friend met her husband? :)
And if you’re a real-estate agent yourself, you can get in on the action too! A profile on Sundaybell is free, as is correspondence with potential customers. To get even more engaged though, usually once invited by a client who wants to take it to the next step and meet in person, memberships are available.
Hmmm....something tells us Sunday isn’t just for open houses any more.
